Slowly climbs the crimson sun
from behind the sullen crimson domes
This way and that he peers and sees
crimson people in crimson homes

Beaming through the crimson mist engulfing town
Glistening briskly in crimson brooks gurgling down

Slanting its rays upon a crimson tower,
from where leaps a crimson cascade
to greet the street with a crimson shower
then drips from her hairs on to cheeks
like drops of dew on a crimson flower

Warmth of spring and smell of husk
There's a crimson shade in my crimson bower
